Diane Kranz CPA
Managing Partner


Diane G. Kranz has been a certified public accountant for over 40 years, specializing in individual, estate and trust tax and accounting issues.

After receiving her degree in Business Administration from Baruch College, Diane worked for Robert Simons & Company, CPAs, where she also supervised the preparation of fiduciary and individual income tax returns for the law offices of Morris & McVeigh. She formed her own firm in 1973.

Ms. Kranz is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of New York, Connecticut and Florida. A former member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Society of CPAs and a former chairperson of their Fiduciary Accounting Committee, Diane has also lectured at New York University, Womanschool, New York University of Tax Institute, City Community College and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves on the board of directors for a public company and several not-for-profit organizations.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants



Kathi Mintzer CPA
Partner


Kathi Mintzer joined Kranz and Company in 1987, and became a partner in 1999. She specializes in individual, estate and trust taxes.

Kathi obtained her BA from Queens College and received her MBA from St. John’s University, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York. She is co-author of “The Everything Money Book: Learn How To Manage, Budget, Save and Invest Your Money So There’s Plenty Left Over,” published in 1999. She is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.



Elliot Rosenblatt Enrolled Agent
Principal


Elliot Rosenblatt is our individual tax expert. Through his hands on approach and communication skills, he works hand in hand with clients in regard to tax planning and annual filings. A veteran of over 37 years, Elliot began his career as a revenue agent for the Internal Revenue Service. As a result of this experience, Elliot has an exceptional record of success dealing with both federal and state taxing authorities handling tax audits. Elliot received his accounting degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.



Jay Levy CPA
Manager


Jay Levy is our business tax specialist. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since May 25, 1995. Jay obtained his BS degree Magna Cum Laude from The State University of New York at Albany and his MBA with distinction from Hofstra University. Jay is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Over the course of his career, Jay has developed a diverse background in the field of accounting. Jay has provided accounting, business advisory and tax services for businesses ranging from sole proprietorships to corporations, in addition to tax services for nonprofit organizations, estates and individuals. He currently focuses on small to mid-size closely held companies in various industries including real estate, construction, restaurants, transportation and manufacturing.
